Pop-up libraries are delivered by West Berkshire Council in partnership with the local town or parish council or village hall committee and offer regular visits to villages that do not have a full-time library and provide a welcoming space for residents of all ages.
Together, they will give more residents easy access to books, reading support, information and friendly advice from trained library staff without having to travel to a permanent library.
Local Pop Up Library Locations:
Aldworth Village Hall – Monthly – 1st Saturday – 10.30am to 12 noon
St Stephens Church, Upper Basildon – Monthly – 2nd Monday – 10am to 12 noon
